Second book in the Adventures with the Awliya series

Though the Blue Gate, the sequel to Beyond the Forest, is a story of adventure, friendship and growth, in which three children, under the guidance of an unassuming wise woman, travel through a magical Mihrab into the legendarium of the Awliya: the mystics of an ancient spiritual path, upholders of an enduring legacy. The book revives with fresh and present life a semi-mythical canon from Islamic heritage, exploring cultures, heroes and quests from across the world.
