How do children live on our beautiful blue planet? Come, let’s embark on a journey around the globe and see how children live in Australia, Greenland, or Kenya and what they are doing right now. Together, we will peek into the lives of twelve children in stories that take place at the same moment when it is noon in the Czech Republic. Do you know what time it is in Canada then? The new book by popular author Alena Morntajnov introduces children to the diversity of life on Earth, while gently reminding them of the difficulties that accompany it. It aims to spark children’s interest in learning as much as possible about the world they live in and the future they will shape. Short, engaging, and clearly written stories from the everyday lives of twelve children from different countries around the world (all continents are represented here) are intended for beginning readers and are accompanied by colorful illustrations by Mrie Nerdov. Each story is complemented by a series of interesting facts that children can read together with their parents.
