An abridged retelling of the classic story by Johanna Spyri, suitable for younger readers. Heidi is happy living in the Alps with her

grandfather. So when she is taken to Frankfurt to be a companion for frail, sickly Clara, Heidi is miserable. She longs to return to the freedom, fresh air, and sunshine of the mountains perhaps they, too, can work their magic on Clara.
