The Quran declares: To Allah belong the Most Beautiful Names, and then instructs: So call upon Him by them (7:180). Since the revelation of this verse, the Names of Allah have remained a central and profound topic within the Islamic sciences. Scholars such as Imam al-Ghazl (505AH) and Ibn al-Qayyim (751AH) have explored this subject in depth, drawing from the Quran and Sunnah to reveal the subtle layers of meaning behind each of the Divine Names.

This new deluxe edition of The Divine Names presents each Name alongside a corresponding verse from the Quran to affirm its authenticity. It also features poetic reflections from renowned Muslim poets, expressing their deep love and awe for the Creator. To help bring these Names into daily devotion, we have included heartfelt supplications inspired by each Name – making it easier for readers to use them meaningfully in their own dus, just as our Lord, the Ever-Answering, has commanded.
